Singer, lyricist, composer- Bidishah who is based in Mumbai, began her musical journey with Hindustani classical training under late Ustad Abdul Rashid Khan at ITC SRA Kolkata. She learnt about world music and gathered experience in live performance while studying in Lasalle College of the Arts Singapore.

After returning to India she participated in the 8th Season of India’s Got Talent, where she was one of the semi-finalists and was acknowledged fondly by Karan Johar. Her podcast with Kalki Koechlin called “My Indian Life” was released on BBC. Ever since then Bidisha has been releasing a steady stream of her original music on all streaming platforms in Hindi, English and Bengali languages.

She strives to bring newness to Bollywood music and at the same time elevate Bengali music to a world stage.
